“Bath Place Hotel presents a distinctive Oxford experience within a cluster of 17th-century cottages, mere steps from the Bodleian Library. Its historic setting extends to the rooms themselves, where quirks in the architecture underscore the building's character. The hotel's continental breakfast simplifies mornings, while optional cooked dishes are available. I find this a particularly comfortable base for immersing oneself in Oxford's cultural heart.”

The location was excellent. It was in the heart of everything. The staff was very pleasant. They were helpful with directions. I found the building's 17th-century architecture good. The adjacent Turf Tavern is a must-visit. It's perfect for dinner.
The included breakfast was basic, with just bread and pastries available.

The king room was fully equipped. The bed had threadbare spring mattresses,. but the room was clean. It was a little small, ok for sleeping. I enjoyed the vintage style decor.
